Sound Editor and Sound Designer, Disneyland Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Attractions (Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Millenium Falcon: Smugglers Run)

  • Created sounds for various droids throughout the ride 

  • Interfaced with ride engineers to deliver sounds compatible with the rides speaker arrays

  • Designed various other sounds for when guests are in line, such as UI sounds for screens, engines and machinery, and animatronics

  • Cut already existing Star Wars sounds for other parts of the rides to maintain continuity within the Star Wars universe

  • Revised sounds for both rides based on input from the Director and engineering team

  • Worked with ride engineers and technical sound designers to deliver assets ready for implementation

  • Created high definition versions of original Star Wars SFX, such as light sabers and AT-AT Walkers.

  • Create, record, master and enter new sounds into the Sound Effects database

  • Built/created analog processes and signal chain for real time futzing during the final mix. 

  • Recorded new original material for the Star Wars Universe with guidance from Lead Sound Designer

  • Sound design for vehicles, weapons, and various Star Wars tech

  • Helped develop Skywalker’s Atmos Pre-mixing and Final Mixing workflow and coordinated implementation between Dolby Laboratories and Skywalker Engineering
